The rationale behind the Lion’s Club’s activities lies in their commitment to helping society by acting through the local Clubs. The Clubs’ actions are implemented by supporting and upholding local communities in general. The sphere of action of each single Club cannot be restricted merely to the territory within its jurisdiction because needs exist which fall outside the geographical boundaries and require action to be taken within society in all its manifold forms.
