From bartering to electronic money
Money has been used in the Western world for 2,600 years as a store of value, means of exchange and method of payment, but over the centuries it has undergone profound changes in the way we look at it for political, ideological, artistic and administrative reasons. Money is one of the most vivid witnesses forming the mosaic tiles of our history and in this article we will examine its evolution and how it spread symbolically from the sixth century before Christ up to today.
