The GLT was born to foster and promote the basic skills of the Lions’ members at all levels but its main goal is to create leadership. This particular moment in history calls for us to increasingly tailor our initiatives and activities to provide the necessary support for conditions of poverty and need which the Community is ever more bringing to our attention and which are on the up and up day by day. It is becoming increasingly necessarily for the Lions club to make a meaningful contribution to society by taking clear and intelligent action; to strive in order to improve the numerous unfortunate situations affecting our society today. The GLT training courses are meant to sow ideas in its members minds and encourage their leadership qualities by fostering new concepts and sustaining their desire to take action and participate in various activities.
